Privacy Policy

ImageCompressorKits ("we", "us") is built around one principle: your files are none of our business. Every tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser. This policy explains exactly what that means and what little data exists at all.

1. Your files never leave your device

All processing — compressing, converting, merging, editing — happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, or seen by us or anyone else. There is no server that receives them, no queue, no temporary storage, and no "automatic deletion after X hours" promise needed — because nothing arrives in the first place. You can verify this yourself: the tools keep working if you disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

2. No accounts, no personal data collection

We do not offer accounts and do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal information to use the tools. We do not use advertising trackers, social media pixels, or fingerprinting.

3. Analytics (cookieless)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly how often. It is a privacy-first, cookieless system: it does not use cookies or localStorage, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across sites. We see counts and trends, never individuals.

4. Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually all web hosts, Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) transiently to deliver the site securely and mitigate abuse, per Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not receive or review individual visitor logs. Requests only ever concern the web pages themselves — never your files, which are not transmitted.

5. Local storage on your device

Some tools may remember your last-used settings (for example, a preferred compression preset) in your own browser's storage. That data stays on your device, is never transmitted, and you can clear it any time via your browser settings.

6. Third-party services

We self-host all processing libraries. Pages do not load third-party scripts other than the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon described above. Links to external sites (if any) are subject to those sites' own policies.

7. Children

The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

8. Your rights

Because we do not collect or store personal data or files, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct, export, or erase. If you believe we hold any personal data about you, contact us and we will respond in line with applicable data-protection laws (including the GDPR where it applies).

9. Changes to this policy

If our practices ever change, we will update this page and its date. Material changes will be noted prominently.
